Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- The customer needs an email or a mobile number saved. The link goes by email (Mail), by SMS, or both.
- Outside India, the SMS goes only if you’ve set up your own SMS provider (Twilio or BulkGate).
- Every plan includes customer login.

Go to Customers and open the customer.
-
Click Actions at the top right (on a phone, tap ⋯). Then click Send activation link.
The Send activation link window opens.

If the link has expired, send a new one the same way.
What customers see
Section titled “What customers see”Customers see only their own records. They never see your other customers, your staff or your settings.

- Self check-in: opens your check-in form so they can book a new repair.
Customer types
Section titled “Customer types”When you add a customer, you choose a Customer type: End user, Dealer or Corporate user. The type is a label to help you sort customers. All three types see exactly the same things when they sign in. An owner can change it with Actions › Change customer type (⋯ on a phone).
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Stop someone signing in. On the customer, click Actions › Activate or deactivate (⋯ on a phone). A deactivated customer can’t sign in. Do the same again to let them back in.
- The link went to the wrong address? Fix the email or mobile number on the customer, then send a new link.
- Customers can update their own contact details from their profile once they sign in.
- Notifications still go out whether or not a customer signs in. See Customer notification preferences.
