BytePhase can print every document your shop makes: job sheets, bills, quotations, receipts, stickers and labels. Each one prints on one or more kinds of printer: an ordinary office printer, a small receipt printer, or a label printer.

For example, when a customer drops off a phone with a cracked screen, you can print the job sheet on A4 for them, and a small sticker for the phone itself.

In Print settings, these are the four choices under Where it prints:

When you print a document, BytePhase makes a PDF in the size you picked.

  • On a computer, the PDF opens in a new browser tab with the print window. Pick your printer there, like for any other file.
  • In the Android or iPhone app, the PDF opens in your phone’s PDF viewer. You print or share it from there. See Print from your phone.

The Print menu on a document shows only the choices that document has. For example, Thermal appears only for documents in the thermal column above.

You choose what each printout shows in Settings › Documents & printing › Print settings. For example, the look (theme), the paper size, the customer and device details, and the table columns. See Print settings.

Each of your businesses has its own print settings, logo and details. A document always prints with the business that created it. See Which business’s details print.

  • Themes. Classic is on every plan. Modern and Compact need the Standard plan or above.
  • Terms and conditions print at the bottom of most documents. You write them once for each document type. See Terms and conditions on your documents.
  • Document numbers. The job number, invoice number and others come from each business’s own number series. See Document numbers.
