The Jobs report shows how your repair work is going: how many jobs you booked, the money in them, and where work gets stuck. It has 17 views. You switch between them with the tabs on the report.

To open it on a computer, click Reports in the menu on the left. Then click Jobs under Core business. On a phone, tap More, then Reports under Team & money, then Jobs.

Don’t see Reports? Ask your shop owner to let you View reports. Reports show your shop’s revenue, so owners often keep them to themselves.

What you see What it means
Date buttons All, Today, Yesterday, This week, This month, Last month, Last 30 days or Custom (pick your own dates). The report opens on This month. On a phone, tap the filter row to change it.
Business Only if you have more than one business. Pick All businesses or one business. Reports open on All businesses.
Compare to prior period Adds last period’s figures next to this period’s, so you can see what went up or down. Greyed out on views where a comparison makes no sense.
Summary cards Total jobs, Revenue, Avg value (average per job), Received and Outstanding for the dates you picked.

Below the tabs you see a chart, a Mix chart for most views, and a table called Detailed jobs. Use the Column chooser button on the table to show or hide columns.

Tab What it shows
By status Jobs grouped by their current status (for example Inward, In Process, Delivered), with the amount, received and still due at each one.
By employee Work per technician: jobs assigned, revenue, money collected and average job value. It counts the technician the job is assigned to, not the person who booked it.
Device type Jobs and revenue by kind of device, for example laptop, mobile or tablet. Jobs without a device type are left out.
Device brand The same, by brand (Apple, Samsung, HP). Handy for planning spare parts.
By service Which repair services you do most, and what you billed for each.
By part Which spare parts you use most on jobs, and what you billed for them. This is what you charged customers, not stock movement.
Job type Jobs by type: No Warranty, Warranty, AMC, Return or Free service. Shows how much work is paid and how much is covered.
Source Where jobs came from, for example walk-in, website, referral, Google. Jobs without a source are left out.
Priority Jobs by priority, for example Regular or Urgent. Needs priorities set up in your job settings.
Turnaround time Every finished job with the hours from booking to completion. The slowest jobs are at the top.
Overdue Open jobs whose estimated delivery date has passed, with how many days late each one is. Here the dates you pick filter by estimated delivery date.
Age analysis Open jobs grouped by how long ago they were booked: 0–7, 8–30, 31–60 and over 60 days. Finds forgotten repairs.
Revenue trend Jobs and revenue day by day.
Warranty/return Jobs done under warranty, return or free service, and how many were done completely free.
Outsourced Jobs you sent to an outside repairer: the vendor, how many jobs, what you paid and how many they finished. Here the dates filter by when you sent the job out.
Status flow Each change from one status to another in the period, and how often it happened. Shows where jobs get stuck.
Diagnosis How many diagnosis reports each technician wrote, and on how many different jobs.

Compare to prior period works on the first nine views, from By status to Priority.

  • Month forecast: how many jobs and how much revenue you’ll reach by the end of this month if you keep the current pace. It always uses the current month, whatever dates you picked.
  • Activity heat map: a calendar of the last 12 weeks. Darker squares are busier days. It ignores the dates you picked.
  • Each business has its own jobs. Pick one business to see only its jobs, or All businesses to add them up.
  • No export from this page. To get jobs out as a file, see Export a list to Excel.
  • Other report pages. Only Trends explorer, Dashboard, Jobs and Sales are open in the new Reports. The rest show a padlock and Coming soon. For payments, expenses, purchases and stock charts, see Older reports.
