The Business readiness checklist shows what to do before you use BytePhase every day. It covers your business details, logo, tax rates and bank details. It also asks you to try your first real job, delivery and payment. Each task you finish raises your readiness score.

  • You need to be able to open Settings. Owners and admins can do this already. If you can’t, ask your shop owner.
  • Finish the setup wizard first. It opens the first time the owner signs in.
  • On the Lite plan, some tasks are locked and need a higher plan. See the table below and Plans and what’s included.
  1. At the bottom of the menu on the left, click Settings.

  2. At the top, in the Finish setting up your business box, click Continue setup.

The Business readiness window opens. It shows your Overall progress and the tasks, sorted into groups.

If your score is below 60%, there is a second way in. Click your name at the top right, then click Business readiness.

The Finish setting up your business box only shows while you still have tasks left. When everything is done, it goes away.

  1. Open a group, for example Business basics. The first unfinished group opens by itself. One task is marked Suggested next.

  2. Next to a task, click Start.

BytePhase takes you to the screen where you do that task.

  3. Do the task there and save.

Next time you open the checklist, the task shows as Completed. Some tasks only count when you do them on a real job. Delivering a job with OTP is one of these.

  4. On a computer, some tasks have Show me how. Click it to get a short guided tour of that screen instead.
