Use Shiprocket when you send a repaired device back to the customer by courier. Once your Shiprocket account is connected, BytePhase shows the couriers and rates for the route, books the one you pick, and keeps the tracking on the job.

  • You need a Shiprocket account with an API user. This is not your normal Shiprocket login. In Shiprocket, go to Settings › API › API Users and create one. You get an email and a password just for the connection.
  • Create a separate API user for BytePhase. Don’t reuse a staff member’s login. If that person leaves and loses access, your courier booking stops too.
  • Don’t see Set up on the card? Ask your shop owner to let you connect integrations (Integrations — Connect & configure).
  1. Go to Settings › Integrations. On the Shiprocket card, click Set up.

On a phone, tap More › System › Integrations.

  2. In the Set up shipping window, enter your Shiprocket API Email and Password.

  3. Click Connect.

The window now shows Connected. If you get an error instead, check that you used the API user, not your normal Shiprocket login.

    Desktop
  1. Open the job. Click Job actions, then Add delivery.

  2. Set Delivery mode to Courier.

  3. Turn on Ship via Shiprocket.

  4. Under Package details, enter the Weight (kg), Length (cm), Breadth (cm) and Height (cm). Check the Pickup address and Delivery address.

  5. Click Check available couriers. Under Select courier, pick one from the list. Each shows its Rate and Est. delivery.

  6. Click Save.

You see Shipment created. The job’s delivery now shows the Courier, the AWB code and the Shipment status.

  • Cancel. Until the parcel is delivered, you can click Cancel shipment on the delivery and give a reason.
  • No couriers listed. You see “No couriers available for this route.” Check the pickup and delivery addresses, including the PIN codes.
  • Without Shiprocket. You can still choose Courier, pick a Delivery provider and type the Tracking ID yourself.
  • Pickup & drop. When you set a pickup or drop to the courier method, Shiprocket is picked as the delivery provider for you. Booking the courier happens from the job’s delivery only.
