Settings: Documents & printing

Documents & printing decides how your job sheets, invoices and other documents look, what terms they carry, and the signature added to your messages. Document numbers are set on the business itself; see Numbering below.

Each business has its own

Everything on this page belongs to one business: the one picked in the business switcher. Your other business keeps its own. Past documents reprint with the new look, but their numbers and amounts don’t change. See Which business’s details print.

Printer setup

Print settings

Settings › Documents & printing › Print settings. One page for every document. Pick where it prints, then a document on the left, then change its sections. Click Save settings when you’re done.

Available on Standard and above

On Lite and Basic, every document prints in Classic. On Lite, custom fields and the payment QR don’t print.

Terms and Conditions

Settings › Documents & printing › Terms and Conditions. Write the terms printed at the bottom of each type of document, such as the job sheet, quotation, job invoice, sale, payment receipt, job delivery, purchase, AMC contract, self check-in, diagnosis report, pickup and drop, and rental contract.

Notification signatures

Settings › Documents & printing › Notification signatures. The footer added to the end of messages sent to customers.

Numbering

Sequence numbers

Settings › Business settings, open the business, then Sequence numbers. It isn’t one of the Documents & printing screens. You can also find it by searching settings for “sequence”.
