Keyboard shortcuts for sales and quotations

On a computer, these keys save you clicks at the counter. They don’t apply on a phone.

On a Mac, use ⌘ (Command) where it says Ctrl, and ⌥ (Option) where it says Alt.

Start something new

You can press these from any screen.

Keys	What it does
Alt+S	Opens Create sale
Alt+Q	Opens Create quotation
Alt+C	Opens Add customer
Alt+J	Opens Create job

While you add items

These work in the item search box on a sale or quotation.

Keys	What it does
↑ and ↓	Move up and down the search results
Enter	Adds the highlighted item
Shift+Enter	Adds the item and lets you set the quantity (Add item and set quantity)
Esc	Clears the search and closes the list
Ctrl+I	Opens Add item manually, for an item that isn’t in your stock
Ctrl+B	Opens Scan barcode, to scan an item
Ctrl+S	Save changes, on item lists that have their own save button, such as a job’s services and parts

Anywhere

Keys	What it does
Ctrl+P	Prints the document you have open. If there isn’t one, your browser’s print window opens
Ctrl+/	Opens Global search
/	Jumps to the search box on the page
Alt+X	Opens or closes the shortcut list
