Use this when a customer, for example a dealer, pays one amount for several bills at once. You record the money once and BytePhase spreads it over the bills you pick.

  • Only finished repairs count. A job shows up here when its status is in the Closed stage (for example Completed) and money is still due. Sales with money due show up too.
  • Don’t see Bulk payment? Ask your shop owner to let you record payments (Payments — Record payments).
  1. Go to Customers and open the customer.

  2. At the top of the customer’s page, click Bulk payment.

The Add payment window opens with the customer already picked. If your shop takes PhonePe payments, a Select payment method window opens first. Click Add payment in it.

  3. Choose the Payment mode. If the customer is paying less than everything due, type the Amount now. It starts with the total due of all the bills.

  4. Click Link payment.

The Link payment to transactions window lists every bill with money due. You see the Ticket number, the Ticket type, what is Due, and the Linked amount.

  5. Tick the bills the customer is paying for. Each ticked bill takes as much as it needs until the money runs out. Unused amount shows what is left. When it reaches 0, click Save.

If money is still unused, Save shows “You haven’t linked total amount or may be you are trying to add more than total remaining amount.” Tick more bills, or click Cancel and lower the Amount.

  6. Back in Add payment, check that the Amount matches the linked total.

  7. Click Add payment.

The Payment created window opens: “The payment is split across the linked invoices.”

  8. Click Document to print one receipt for the whole payment. Or tick WhatsApp under Notify customer and click Send & close. To close without telling the customer, click Close.

  • The amounts must match. If the linked total and the Amount differ, you see “The linked total does not match the payment amount. Please link the tickets again.” Open Link payment again and save.
  • Nothing to link? “This customer has no pending tickets or invoices to link a payment to.” Check that the job is finished and still has money due.
  • Past bulk payments are on the customer’s Bulk payments tab.
  • More than one business? You only see the bills of the business picked in the switcher.
