- Low balance: you see “Low balance - about … messages left” on the WhatsApp page, and the WhatsApp balance item turns red when it’s empty.
- Empty balance when sending: your staff see “Add credit to send this from your number” and can click Add top-up or Continue with link to open WhatsApp and send by hand.
- Not charged: your replies inside the 24-hour window, and messages WhatsApp refuses to deliver.
- On BytePhase’s number, WhatsApp’s own charge for each message is also taken from this balance automatically, so the balance covers fewer messages than on your own number.
- On your own number, WhatsApp (Meta) bills its own charge to the card or UPI you added in Meta. That’s separate from this balance.
- Balance is for the whole account, shared by all your businesses.
