You take in a device, track the repair, bill the customer and keep them updated, all in one place.
You can use it on a computer in a web browser, or on your phone with the Android or iPhone app. You can also install it from the browser like an app. Everything shows the same information, wherever you open it.
What you can do with BytePhase
Section titled “What you can do with BytePhase”This help center is split into four parts. They follow a normal day in a repair shop.
| Part | What it covers | Start here |
|---|---|---|
| Set up | Your business details, your team, settings, your plan and your businesses | Setup checklist |
| Run the shop | Jobs (repair tickets), stock and purchases, service contracts and work at the customer’s place | What is a job? |
| Get paid | Quotations, invoices, sales, payments, printing and reports | Quick start |
| Grow | Customers and leads, messages to customers, and links to other apps | Key concepts |
Here is how a normal repair moves, for example a phone with a cracked screen:
- Take it in. Create a job for the customer’s phone. Note the fault and any accessories, like a charger or case. Print or share the job sheet.
- Do the work. Give the job to a technician. Add the services and parts. Move the job from one stage to the next. BytePhase can tell the customer at each step.
- Get approval. If the price changes, send a quotation. The customer can approve or reject it.
- Give it back. Create the invoice, take the payment and hand the phone back. If you like, ask the customer for a one-time code (OTP) or a signature first.
See From intake to handover for the full picture.
