Use the Trends explorer when you want to see how things change over time. For example: did your new customers go up in the same weeks as your job revenue?

  • Don’t see Reports? Ask your shop owner to let you View reports.
  • You need some jobs, sales or payments in the dates you want to look at.
  1. In the menu on the left, click Reports. Under Overview, click Trends explorer.

The chart opens with four lines: Jobs, Sales, Customers and Payments for the Last 30 days.

  2. Next to Time range, pick the dates, for example This month or Last month. Pick Custom to choose your own dates.

If you have more than one business, you can also pick one business or All businesses here.

  3. Next to Bucket, choose Day, Week or Month. This is how the dates are grouped on the chart.

For a few months of data, Week or Month is easier to read.

  4. To add a line, click Add metric, then click the one you want, for example Jobs revenue. To remove a line, click the × next to its name.

  5. To see how you did compared with the period before, click Compare to prior period.

The earlier period appears on the chart as dotted lines, marked “(prev)” in the key under the chart.

  6. Scroll down to the Comparison table. It shows each metric’s total for the Current period. With compare turned on, you also see the Previous period, the Change and the Change %.

  • Amounts and counts share one chart. A revenue line can tower over a count line. Remove a few lines if the chart is hard to read.
  • Your choices aren’t saved. The page goes back to the four starting lines each time you open it.
  • Leads, tasks and customers belong to your whole account, so they show the same figures whichever business you pick.
