Use this when you need a paper or PDF copy of a job document. For example, the job sheet for the customer at drop-off, or the invoice when they pay.

  • The document must exist first. A job sheet exists as soon as the job is saved. An invoice, quotation, payment receipt or delivery challan exists only after you create it.
  • For a receipt printer or a label printer, set its paper size in Print settings first.
  • Don’t see the job? Ask your shop owner to let you see jobs.
  1. Go to Jobs and click the job.

  2. At the top of the job, click Documents (next to Job actions).

A list opens: Job sheet, Diagnosis report (if your shop uses diagnosis reports), Payment receipt, Delivery challan, Invoice and Quotation. A document that isn’t made yet says Not created yet. If your shop changed the delivery challan title in print settings, the list shows your title instead.

  3. Next to the document you want, click the print icon.

  4. Choose how to print:

    • Document: the full page, on A4 (or the size you set).
    • Thermal: a receipt for your receipt printer. Only some documents have it.
    • Sticker print (job sheet only): a small label to stick on the device, also called the technician copy.
    • Barcode (delivery challan only): a job tag on your label printer.
    • Download: saves a PDF copy to your computer.
    Desktop
  5. A new tab opens with the PDF and your browser’s print window. Pick your printer and click Print.

You can also click the document’s name in the list to open it. On its page, click Print at the top. When a document page is open, Ctrl+P (Cmd+P on a Mac) prints the full-page Document.

  • The sticker can ask for a note. If your shop turned on Ask for a note before printing, a Sticker box opens first. Type a Remark (for example “Handle with care”) and click Print. Staff only: customers don’t see sticker printing.
  • Printing again is safe. A reprint uses the business’s current logo, details and print settings. The number and amounts stay the same. A document always prints with the business that created it. See Which business’s details print.
  • Other documents work the same way. Sales, quotations, purchases, payment receipts, AMC and rental contracts all have a Print button or a Documents list on their page.
  • Nothing happens when you click Print? Your browser blocked the new tab. You see “Your browser blocked the print window. Allow pop-ups for this site and try again.” Allow pop-ups for BytePhase.
