Works on computer and phoneIncluded in every plan

BytePhase moved to a new Reports page, but the classic report pages are still there. They are useful for the things the new Reports don’t cover yet: purchases, expenses, payments, low stock and staff.

On a computer, click Reports in the menu on the left. At the top of the reports list, click Old reports. If you don’t see the list, click the arrow on its edge to open it.

On a phone, tap More, then Reports under Team & money. Tap Old reports at the top.

To go back, click Try new reports at the top of the old pages.

Each page has date buttons and starts on Last 30 days. If you have more than one business, you can pick one business or All businesses.

Tab What you see
Jobs Total jobs and Job total amount, then charts of top services, top parts, jobs by status, revenue by device model, job type and source. Tables of Top services in jobs, Top parts in jobs and Jobs by status. Pie charts of Jobs by device model, Jobs by device type and Count by brand.
Sales Total sale amount and Total sale count, a Daily sales report and Top parts in sales.
Purchase Total purchase amount and Total purchase count, a Daily purchase report and Top parts in purchases.
Expenses Total expense amount and Total expense count, an Expense report chart and Expenses by category.
Inventory Parts running low: each part with In stock, Min quantity and Required quantity.
Payments Total paid, Job received amount, Sale received amount and Purchase amount, plus a Report by payment type (for example cash, card, UPI).
Revenues A Device type wise revenue report.
Employees Employee performance summary (jobs completed, revenue generated) and Employee activity summary.
  • All the pages need permission to View reports.
  • The Inventory tab also needs View parts, and Payments also needs Record payments. Without them you’re sent back to the Jobs tab.
  • Sales, Purchase and Expenses show a padlock if your plan doesn’t include that feature. See Plans and what’s included.
  • Charts can be saved as pictures. Some charts have a small menu to save or print the chart.
  • Employee summaries can be emailed. On the Employees tab, the Export buttons email you an Excel file. You need the Export to Excel permission under Jobs. See Export a list to Excel.
  • Old and new may differ a little. The two count some things in different ways. For jobs and sales, use the new Jobs report and Sales report.
