Use this when you want the customer to sign, for example when they drop off a phone or collect it. A staff member can sign too.

  • You can sign these job documents: Job sheet, Invoice, Quotation, Delivery challan and Diagnosis report. Make the document first.
  • Each document has two places to sign: Customer signature and Employee signature.
  • Your business may have a signature saved. You’ll find it in Settings › Business settings, in the business’s Logo & signature section. If so, it fills the staff signature on its own until a staff member signs.
  1. Go to Jobs and open the job. Stay on the Overview tab.

  2. Under Documents, click the document, for example Job sheet.

  3. Scroll down to Signatures, below the document. It shows how many signatures are still needed.

  4. Click Sign customer. Hand the screen, mouse or tablet to the customer.

    Desktop
  5. The customer signs above the line. To start again, click Clear.

  6. Click Save.

You see “Signature saved”. The signature shows on the document at once.

  7. Click Sign employee, sign, and click Save. You won’t see this button if your business signature already fills that place.

  • Check before you save. After a signature is saved, the Sign button for that place goes away. So look at the signature before you tap Save.
  • The customer can sign from home. When you share a document link with the customer, for example a job quotation, they can sign it with Sign customer on that page. They can’t sign as staff.
  • When both signatures are done, the Signatures section goes away. The signatures stay on the document.
  • On a phone, signing is often easier with the phone turned sideways.

Each document uses its own business’s signature, not the business picked in the switcher. See Wrong logo or business details on a printout.

Pickup & drop has its own signature proof at handover. You set it up in the pickup & drop settings. It isn’t part of this.

  • No Signatures section: your shop is on the Lite or Basic plan, or both signatures are already done. See Plans and what’s included.
  • “Couldn’t save signature. Try again.”: check your internet connection and try again.
