Use this if you run lead ads on Facebook or Instagram. When someone fills in your ad’s form, they appear in BytePhase as a Lead within moments.

  • You need admin access to the Facebook Page your ads run from. If the Page is in a Meta Business portfolio, use the Facebook account that manages it there.
  • You can connect this on every plan. To see the enquiries, you need the Standard plan or higher.
  • Don’t see Set up? Ask your shop owner to let you connect integrations.
  1. Go to Settings › Integrations. On a phone, tap More › System › Integrations.

  2. On the Meta Lead Ads card, click Set up.

The Set up Meta Lead Ads window opens.

  3. Click Connect Facebook. A Facebook window opens.

    Desktop
  4. Sign in to Facebook and allow every permission it asks for. If you manage more than one Page, choose only the Page your ads run from.

When Facebook asks which Pages to allow, make sure your Page is ticked. If it isn’t, nothing gets connected. The permissions only let BytePhase see your Pages and read your leads. BytePhase can’t post as your Page.

You come back to BytePhase and see “Meta Lead Ads connected”.

  5. The card now shows Active. To check which Page is connected, click Set up on the card again. It shows Connected to and your Page name.

  • The name, email and mobile number come from the ad form. Other answers are kept with the lead.
  • The lead is assigned to an admin of your shop and has the comment “Auto-imported from Meta Lead Ads”.
  • If a lead with the same email or mobile number already exists, the new one is skipped.
  • To stop new leads for a while, set Service status to Inactive and save.
  • If BytePhase shows “Connected, but lead delivery could not be enabled for this page”, click Reconnect Facebook and allow every permission.
  • To switch to a different Page, use Reconnect Facebook.
  • To test it, send a test lead with Meta’s Lead Ads Testing Tool, then check Leads. Use an email and mobile number that aren’t already a lead.
