Send WhatsApp messages from BytePhase's number

The quickest way to have WhatsApp messages go out on their own. Nothing to set up at Meta or Facebook. Customers see the message come from BytePhase rather than your shop name.

Before you start

• Shops in India only.
• Only someone with WhatsApp › Connect & buy balance can do this. By default, that’s the Admin.
• You need WhatsApp balance to send. See WhatsApp balance.

What it costs

₹0.25 per message plus WhatsApp’s own charge for that message. Both are taken from your WhatsApp balance automatically, so there’s nothing to pay Meta separately. WhatsApp sets its charge and changes it from time to time. We recommend adding ₹200 to start.

Steps

1. Go to Settings › Integrations. On a phone, tap More › System › Integrations.

2. On the WhatsApp card, click Connect your number.

   You see “How do you want to send messages?”

3. Under Send using BytePhase’s number, click Use BytePhase’s number.

4. You see “You can send now, from BytePhase’s number.” The page shows Sending from BytePhase’s number and Ready to send.

5. Click Add balance and add balance if you haven’t yet.

Done!

When your staff tick WhatsApp and click Send & close after saving a job or invoice, the message goes out on its own. No WhatsApp window opens.

Good to know

• Customer replies go to BytePhase’s number, not to you. To get replies in BytePhase, connect your own number.
• There’s no WhatsApp messages inbox and no phone-contacts import on BytePhase’s number.
• To change your mind, click Choose again at the bottom of the WhatsApp page. Your balance stays.
• If your balance runs out, staff are asked to add balance or Continue with link, which opens WhatsApp to send by hand.
